CIA at Copia’s Flavors of Film Series

The Truffle Hunters Film Screening & Rare White Truffle Chef’s Dinner

Saturday, December 7, 2024 | 5 p.m.

The Culinary Institute of America at Copia is hosting the Flavors of Film series, which celebrates the connections between cinema, food and culture.  Every month is a different immersive food and film experience.  Our 20th anniversary screening of Sideways last month was a sold-out success, and we want to make sure you do not miss out on the next event.

On Saturday, December 7, we will be screening  The Truffle Hunters—the enchanting story of the hunters who go deep into the forests of Piedmont, Italy in search of the rare white Alba truffles.  Afterwards, you’ll be treated to a white truffle dinner by Chef Roland Passot and Executive Sous Chef of Perbacco, Tobias Nah.  Both will also take part in the discussion panel with Umberto Gibin and Thomas McQuillan from Sabatino. As an added treat, you’ll also meet the talented truffle-hunting dog, Elio, and his owner Jonah Ward, as they share their personal stories about truffle hunting and their unique lifestyle.

Presented in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco.

Tickets are $195 per person (wine and N/A beverages included)
