![]() Beneath the Surface:Improving Lake County's Energy FuturePG&E is working to underground powerlines in high fire-risk areas, including this project in Clearlake Oaks, Lake County. Over the last nine years, Lake County has experienced seven devastating wildfires. By undergrounding powerlines in Clearlake Oaks, PG&E is reducing wildfire risk, limiting future safety-related power outages and storm outages, improving safety and reliability, and minimizing the need for future tree work and other ongoing maintenance and vegetation management costs. This critical work is part of PG&E’s commitment to building the energy system of the future and reducing long-term costs to customers. |
